Dr. Stephen E. Braude, Ph.D.
Dr. Stephen Braude is one of the few paranormal researchers tenured at a major university. Stephen was strategic in his approach and did not come “out of the closet” so to speak untill he already made a name for himself in mainstream science. Braude is a degreed “philosopher” who rarely ever taking an emotional or judgemental view of the myriad of paranormal events he has researched. His approach is a breath of fresh air and his books, published by mainstream and university presses are important research tools for anyone interested in these topics.
His books include:
The Gold Leaf Lady and other Parapsychological Investigations
Immortal Remains, the evidence for life after death
The Limits of Influence: Psychokinesis and the Philosophy of Science
& the following two books, which we have here at the SRI library and I highly recommend.
ESP and Psychokinesis: A Philosophical Examination
First Person Plural: Multiple Personality and the Philosophy of Mind
Stephen makes an important connection in “First person plural” that I have believed to be true for many years. Multiple personality disorder and the similarities to the hundreds of “Channelers” who claim to be speaking for advanced beings, Saints, Angels & Enlightened reincarnations. Could it be that some of these cases are occasionally just dispaying the same phoenomena?
